3G is a connection used for mobiles to get connected online to the internet which features high speed internet access. 4G is basically an updated version of 3G and can reach faster download speeds. It is claimed 4G will be the successor of 3G within the near future.

Network Interface Card (NIC)

A Network Interface Card is built within the computers  circuit board. It is the hardware that allows the connection onto the internet, with this it allows the user to connect to the net using a LAN. (Local Area Connection).

Bluetooth/Wireless

Bluetooth and Wireless is a connection between 2 devices via radio waves submitted through the air from a short distance. For Example in a car a phone can be connected to the loud speakers with a Bluetooth connection so the user can speak without handling the device.
